Who Can Join?

To enroll in the Assistant Instructor Trainer Seminar, candidates must meet strict prerequisites that ensure only experienced instructors participate. You must:

• Be an active SSI Divemaster Instructor

• Have issued at least:

  • 30 Open Water Diver or Scuba Diver certifications

  • 3 Dive Stress & Rescue certifications

  • 3 Dive Guide or Divemaster certifications

  • 6 Specialty programs or Assistant Instructor certifications

This ensures that every participant has real teaching experience and is prepared to take on the responsibility of mentoring others in safe diving in Lebanon.

Assistant Instructor Trainer Seminar – Course Duration and Requirements

The seminar runs for 4 to 6 days, depending on the number of candidates (minimum of two). The program includes both academic and in-water evaluations, with a focus on instructor development techniques aligned with the SSI scuba system.
