The Junior Open Water Diver course is a full-entry scuba certification designed for kids aged 10 to 14 who are ready to explore the underwater world with safety, skill, and excitement. This program offers the exact same standards and structure as the adult Open Water Diver course, but with a personalized approach that’s adapted to younger minds and bodies. At Bubbles Club, we deliver this training in a fun, family-friendly environment led by professional SSI-certified instructors who specialize in working with youth.

A Safe and Structured Introduction to Scuba
The course includes confined water sessions to develop fundamental scuba skills, academic learning to understand dive theory, and open water dives to apply knowledge in real conditions. Safety is the top priority, and every session is designed to be age-appropriate, calm, and confidence-building. Students use properly fitted child-sized scuba gear and learn important safety protocols that make scuba diving in Lebanon both safe and enjoyable.

Perfect for Lebanon’s Calm Coastal Waters
With access to beautiful, shallow dive sites along the Mediterranean—such as those in diving Amchit and around Dive center Byblos—Lebanon is a great place for young divers to get started. SSI Certification That Grows with Them
Upon successful completion, young divers earn the Junior Open Water Diver certification, which qualifies them to dive up to 12 meters with a certified adult or dive professional. At age 15, this certification automatically upgrades to a standard Open Water Diver. It’s also the first milestone in the broader SSI courses Lebanon path and sets the stage for future specialties like Navigation, Fish ID, or even the Advanced Adventurer program.
