DESCRIPTION
The intent of the SSI Technical Extended Range program is to provide divers with the training necessary to independently plan and conduct two-gas switch, multiple-stop decompression dives to depths of up to 60 meters / 200 feet, using specialized diving equipment and procedures with an equally-qualified dive buddy. You will earn the SSI Technical Extended Range (with or without Trimix) certification after completing this program.
The SSI Technical Extended Range Trimix diving program builds upon skills and techniques learned as an SSI Extended Range Trimix Diver. During this Extended Range diving program, you will go beyond the no-decompression limit by increasing your dive depth and duration. Using either a sidemount or twinset configuration, the Technical Extended Range Trimix gas diving program provides avid underwater explorers with the training necessary to independently plan and conduct mixed gas unlimited decompression dives to a maximum depth of up to 60 meters.
