Description

Night and Limited Visibility

Discover a New World After the Sun Sets
The Night and Limited Visibility course introduces you to one of the most magical—and sometimes intimidating—forms of scuba diving. When the sun goes down or visibility drops, your dive changes completely. New species emerge, lights guide your way, and every movement becomes more deliberate and focused. This course teaches you the skills, communication techniques, and safety protocols needed to dive confidently in the dark or in murky conditions.

Why Night and Low Visibility Diving Matters
Diving at night or in limited visibility conditions isn’t just about seeing in the dark—it’s about maintaining orientation, control, and awareness when your primary sense (sight) is reduced. In this course, you’ll learn how to handle torches properly, stay in close proximity to your buddy, and use navigation cues effectively. You’ll also explore how to communicate using light signals, read behavior cues, and reduce stress in dark environments—all while reinforcing scuba diving safety.

Ideal for Lebanese and Mediterranean Dive Sites
Lebanon’s warm Mediterranean waters offer excellent night diving opportunities at sites like diving Amchit and Dive center Byblos. During scuba diving in Lebanon, night conditions reveal a completely different marine life—from sleeping fish to nocturnal hunters like octopus and moray eels. This course also prepares you for scuba diving trips Lebanon where visibility may change due to currents, weather, or depth.

A Vital Addition to Your Dive Progression
The Night and Limited Visibility course is one of the core SSI courses Lebanon specialties, supporting your growth from beginner to advanced diving and preparing you for professional roles like Dive Guide. It’s also highly recommended before pursuing specialties like Search & Recovery or Navigation, where visibility is often restricted.
